In her most recent, F/W 2014 collection, Phoebe English’s conceptual approach can be seen through the tailoring, draping and experiments with fabrics. The palette is muted and minimalistic.
Conservative black colour helps the viewer to concentrate on all the innovative and interesting details of each garment. You can find a plain black jacket paired with culottes along with an ensemble of a matte latex skirt and shirt, paired with a harness and externalized invisible pockets. An extra touch is added via sensual see-through fabrics and layering.
