Pharrell Williams on Collaborating With Daft Punk

daftpunk

So, just about everyone and their mother is talking about the new studio album from French electronic duo Daft Punk (we already did too).

Columbia Records seems to be pulling out all the stops for the May 21st release of Random Access Memories.  In addition to the SNL commercial spots, listening parties planned for around the world, Vice x Intel’s The Creators’ Project has been tapped to release a number of short interviews with album collaborators in the aptly titled, Random Access Memories: The Collaborators series.  Veteran musicians and album collaborators Giorgio Moroder, Todd Edwards and Nile Rodgers each are featured in their own episode, kind of interesting to hear each of their perspectives on dance music.  However, it was the fourth installment which I liked most, as Pharrell gives a memorable interview describing his experience working with the French duo.  Enjoy!
