Opso in London

opso london by kstudio

Opso, the Greek word for “delicacy”, is one of Marylebone’s latest additions. Created in collaboration between the chefs Georgianna Hiliadaki and Hikos Roussos and the architects from  K-Studio, all from Athens, shows us refinement in Greek gastronomy, even in the English capital.

As a complete experience between space and the food itself, the multidisciplinary group joined the sophistication and tradition in one place. In this restaurant we can admire materials found in Greece, such as marble, but also the use of material contrasts with the use of oak, upholstered leather and bronze details.cAnd still, in order to enhance the junction of flavor qualities, we also find some delicate ceramic murals of the artist Joanna Burternshaw, which illustrates the social setting of the dinner, but also the demand for high quality ingredient for its implementation, both from the UK and Greece.

In parallel, the space is bright and offers a sense of no limits with the street, due to the big windows that exist in the restaurant. In short, Opso is a place of entertainment and where counties are united in way to make a space with a hint of tradition, but also very sophisticated and modern.
