Nutella Crepe Cake


With the NYC weather dropping into the single digits, staying home and shoveling Nutella and hot chocolate in my mouth sounds like the way to go. A more elegant (equally delicious) option would be this mouthwatering Nutella Crepe Cake.


I’ll write it slow so you can understand the importance of this dessert– N-u-t-e-l-l-a C-r-e-p-e C-a-k-e. Dripping hazel-nutty goodness melting, dripping over layers and layers of soft crepes with even more Nutella layered in-between– sign me up! I will be at the store buying bulk Nutella and a crepe pan. Oh thank you Souvlaki For The Soul, I could not asked for a more heavenly treat to brighten up this hellish weather.

1 cup plain flour, sifted
1 tsp caster sugar
pinch salt
1 cup milk
1 cup water
3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
25 grams butter melted
3/4 cup Nutella, softened
300 ml whipped cream
100 grams 70% dark chocolate, melted
2 tbsp coconut oil
