The chef, photographer, and filmmaker Alex Paganelli also known as DEADHUNGRY was born in the picturesque French Alps. During his upbringing, he was surrounded by the beauty of mountains and cultural diversity, which came natural with Italian-British parents.

He, later on, got to explore the French streets and restaurants of Nice, which made him even more eager to dip into the diverse kitchens that are globally available.

Alex’s ever-present passion for food grew stronger and more ingrained after he moved to London at 18 and started to work in the diverse kitchens of his newfound home. Taking the techniques he learned home with him to the kitchen he found a desire to move away from tradition. This is the moment where he started to shape his own signature style. Deconstructing the classic methods, explore the structure, and reconstruct them. There he found he was in a unique position to be able to find the right balance between creating something that beautiful to behold, but also delicious to eat as well.
