Fashion month is fully under way and just as the noise and speed factors to an all time high, CR Fashion Book delivers a new editorial that is truly to be savored. Meat carcasses, including the odd cow head, model Barbara Fialho, and pieces from the Fall collections are seen through Bridget Niedermairs’ lens, for a Caravaggio tribute story. We have always regarded Editor in Chief Carine Roitfeld for her irreverence, but here she seems to call upon the opposite, with this emotion stirring, elevated, art inspired imagery we love so much to see in fashion. And, if Issue #3’s cover star helps to extend visibility of the biannual publication, a whole new league of eyes will be witness to how and why CR Fashion Book is redefining the fashion media format for all.
