My new obsession (and jam) this week has been Mikhael Paskalev’s “I Spy”.
This Norwegian born, Liverpool bred artist has me mesmerized with his video expressing a creative release of energy and destruction, some fancy footwork, and amazing art direction. Its like watching a tornado in slow motion, except that tornado is a 25 year old Scandinavian man with no pants… not complaining. Paskalev’s music is generally pop rooted with an influences of indie, folk, and alt-rock. The single was released at the end of 2012 as he gears up for the release of his first full length album in 2013.
