Phaidon publishes Mexico: The Cookbook written by Margarita Carrillo Arronte today, the first comprehensive bible of Mexican recipes. Mexican food has never been more popular than now, we are eating more salsa and guacamole than ketchup and the interest is expanding as people want to learn thoroughly how to make Mexican food in their private kitchens.
The book features 700 recipes from across the entire country and is wonderfully illustrated with 200 full color photographs. To celebrate the launch, Phaidon is throwing a National Taco Tuesday event with eleven taco trucks around the country tomorrow.
