Only her third year in the ready-to-wear fashion game, and she’s already nailed down a “Mary Katrantzou look”: hyper-colorful prints and palettes that seem to pop out from the clothes themselves.
This Spring/Summer 2013, however, Mary decided to show something a bit different. Turning away from the bodycon and corset silhouettes of her last collection, she went laid-back and loose, in the form of swinging A-line dresses, boxy blazers, and easy-breezy sleeves on straight cut shirts.
As for her trademark prints? These were also redone with a global pattern of country postage stamps, currencies, and flowers, for a clean and overall fresh feel.
