A 1946 garage gets transformed into a restaurant and cafe. Architect Andres Jaque has used to space to create an open, street-level spot that immediately invites you in. Featuring marble and glass surfaces, Romola is elegant yet innovative.
The construction made of marble plates shaped into a tent was attached to the ceiling, filtering the natural light. Pastel-turquoise furniture, velvet couches and lush plants complement the interior. Offering a truly luxurious feel, Romola is the crossroads of design, nature and art – right in the heart of Madrid.
