Liberty London x Nike 2014 Collaboration

liberty-x-nike-2014-summer-collection-4

Liberty’s heritage prints are decorating Nike’s sneakers just in time for spring.  London’s classiest department store has teamed up once again with Nike, introducing a collection of footwear and apparel. The heritage prints are  Anoosha, ’30s print featuring blossom and bell flowers; Lora, a print based on a ’70s version of William Morris’s ‘Willow’ pattern; and Crown, a design based on various paisley block prints from Liberty’s Merton print works in the late 19th to early 20th century. Though they were dug from Liberty’s archives the prints carry a timeless appeal and give the ubiquitous trainers a wonderful spring makeover.
