Dried insects ground to powder are the future vision of how chocolate treats will look like you, created by a Korean designer Jisun Kim. “Future Chocolate” series explores new sources of proteins combined with exquisite, minimalist design.
The opaque acrylic packaging was imagined to resemble cocoons. When opened, they reveal geometrically-shaped chocolates made of 100% insect powder. The futuristic idea, that also reflects growing environmental concerns, was photographed against pristine, white background.
” I wanted to convey the feeling that the photograph of the product is also in the virtual space,”
reads project’s statement.
