Take a look inside KM 20 concept store, which was voted the best Fashion store of 2017 by Highsnobiety‘s readers, winning over Colette and Dover Street Market. Russian most progressive retailer’s new 27,000 square-feet space, designed by young architect Maria Kachalova from Novoe agency, boasts two light-filled retail levels with 26-feet-high ceilings, a rooftop restaurant and an underground garage reserved for fashion events and presentations.
The interior space and all of its objects and installations were created in collaboration with architects, creative directors and designers such as Dries Van Noten, Jacquemus, Ashish and Y/Project.
Probably the most standing out retail spaces are Gosha Rubchinskiy’s football-inspired installation made of parts from Moscow football club Lokomotiv’s stadium and Off-White’s Virgil Abloh’s bright blue temple that showcases designer’s “TEMPORARY” collection.
Here come the times when cool merchandise should be supported by a conceptual space that comes with a story.
