Located in what might just be one of my favorite countries in the world to visit, the extremely vibrant in color and flavor, Rioja wine region of Spain, Hotel Viura is a marvelous hotel choice for the gypset fresh off of their tour of the nearby grape-filled fields and wineries. Cool and industrial, the Designhouse-conceived structure features cement block towers to house the 33-rooms contained within. The interiors, where guests enjoy two bars and a restaurant, boast warm wood furnishings and scenic views of the nearby mountains. A double dose of wine and design in Spain? I can’t imagine anything better.
