Fashion Editor/Stylist, Melanie Ward has a pretty impressive portfolio – She began her career as a stylist working for such mags as The Face and i-D. Ultimately leading her to a career as Helmut Lang‘s right-hand stylist since ’93 till his ultimate departure from his namesake. She is also the first stylist ever to do a story with a newly discovered Kate Moss. She’s been the senior fashion editor at Harper’s Bazaar since ’96 where she was beckoned by the late Liz Tilberis. Above all she is responsible for the some of the most evocative and innovative imagery found in the mainstream publication world.
Since then she has styled for magazines including i-D, The Face, French Glamour, L’Uomo Vogue, Vogue Hommes International and others. She has been Creative Director of Helmut Lang since 1992, and has consulted and styled with Jil Sander and Calvin Klein on their shows.
