Stills & Strokes was initiated by art director and illustrator Melanie Homann and photographer Stefan Vorbeck. Based in Berlin and Hamburg, the duo uses their different working backgrounds and skills to complement each other in a conceptual and executive way. In “Fashion Freaks” they experiment with different techniques and mediums, from installation to paint, typography, collages and papercut, they imaginatively deal with the issues of emotion, material and light – always looking for new ways of perceiving and presenting things.
