As on point as ever, this season Australian designer and Woolmark Prize recipient Dion Lee brought his collection to the catwalks of NYFW. Having previously shown in London, he looks to position his brand from New York following overwhelming support from the American press over the years. It looked as though he was quite confident in this decision, reflected in the seasonless collection. The designer told Vogue Australia it was meant to suit the “never-ending summer”, playing with light and heavy elements, and mixing winter silhouettes with spring fabrications. There was bonded wool, woven leather, molded neoprene and swim silhouettes mixed in.
