Cybèle Young Creates Minature Worlds Of Fine Paper

Toronto-based author and artist Cybèle Young creates miniature worlds made of fine Japanese paper. Working with diverse mediums, Young’s installations have a sculptural quality to them, where ordinary objects are given new, subtle dimensions. Her artistic manifesto to create ‘miniature theaters’, where viewers can immerse into another, surreal worlds, lays at the basis of her practice, as we discover the under-layers of everyday life.
