Concrete Penta Cafe [Melbourne]

Designed by local architect studio Ritz & Ghougassian, the Penta Cafe in Melbourne’s Elsternwick is very raw and minimal. Industrial atmosphere with grey floors, concrete walls, terrazzo benches and steel kitchen elements creates a sleek mood. Metallic apertures balance the light, while black furnishings add an elegant touch to the space.

Pipes hang from the ceiling and elicit an industrial feel, softened with the addition of plants. Featuring a waiting station and private dining area, Penta offers an austere dining experience.
