I ate a pretzel cheesecake with chocolate that a friend made on Monday and it has been on my mind ever since, so when I saw this recipe I had to share it with you.
Its hard to think of something American that is better than this. A mix of pretzels, peanut butter, and chocolate – just the right does of salty and sweet. This cake has got it all, one bite and you will agree.
INGREDIENTS
Pretzel crust
2 cups + 2 tbsp pretzel flour (see notes above)
2 tbsp cane sugar, optional
13-14 tbsp non-hydrogenated shortening, room temperature
Mousse filling
Chocolate mousse
Peanut butter whip
1 can full fat coconut milk, refrigerated overnight
1/4 cup creamy peanut butter, or more
1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
1 tbsp powdered cane sugar
