Etro is the first monograph published to celebrate and shed light on the acclaimed fashion house’s history and influence.
Famous for its lustrous fabrics and richly hued past, the company’s signature paisley print quickly became a fashion staple. The book outlines the company’s history with a collection of ephemeral imagery from advertisements and fashion shows, along with materials from other branded publications.
The pictures are organized by themes, from nature to art while the Etro’s family close friends accompany the images with conversations. Edited by Renata Molho with contributions by Liu Bolin, Leatrice Eiseman, Katsumi Komagata and Monique Levi-Strauss the monograph is exquisitely tasteful and examines fashion with a particular voice.
