The handbags designers Building Block and the furniture makers Waka Waka designed a limited edition collection of custom-order leather bags for IKO IKO Los Angeles. The two collaborated to make these beautiful bags born from a reflection on geometry, shapes, the practical aspect, and also the leather, as they started experiment with sun-tanning. They tried together to explore “how time and use can bring a new personality to the things we wear” explains Shin Okuda from Waka Waka. The mixing of wood and uncluttered leather with geometric shapes gives a very modern and refined result. Definitely loving the minimalist, luxurious and utilitarian style of this collection!
