Redbird, the latest addition to Downtown LA’s burgeoning food scene is also a destination in its own right. This grand space located in the old rectory inside the Vibiana Church, a religious landmark on East 2nd and Main St. took five years to complete.
Redbird is the brainchild of Chef Neal Fraser along with restaurateurs Amy Knoll Fraser and Bill Chait. Chait has created the city’s most impressive portfolio of restaurants, some of which include Bestia, Republique, Picca, Sotto and Petty Cash Taqueria – with quite a few more places opening soon.
The high-level cuisine, drink and service does not fall short of its spectacular design and ambiance. You will enjoy a refined yet uncomplicated New American menu by Chef Neal Fraser and a robust cocktail program by Julian Cox. Redbird is currently only open for dinner service but will soon be expanding into brunch and lunch as well.
