Anne Valerie Hash manages to keep a girl covered up, yet still sleek and stylish with this season’s latest Yves-inspired collection. Using the timeless Smoking jacket as a somewhat loose motif, Hash presented a deconstructed, more casual take on the silhouette, while still retaining a certain formality through the use of Mikado silks, satins, and velvets. These were paired with similarly slouchy pants and sheer draped blouses, as well as the occasional modest skirt.
The clever shapes and textures were further punched up with rich tones of navy, plum, and forest green, set against the basic nudes and blacks; again another play on the collection’s masculine-feminine adaptation.
