The bursts of laughter next to the clinking of glasses is what you will find upon pushing open the door of Anahi, a mythical Argentinian restaurant where parties feed on the good vibes.
The restaurant, a former charcuterie, was bought from the two sisters who opened it thirty years ago. Their pictures always welcome visitors, under the same art deco ceiling. Some subtle change of scenery has been made. Maud Bury, in charge of Anahi’s interior design has opted to gently refresh it while keeping its strong soul and identity.
She brought discreet and chic touches to the restaurant with cracks patched with gleaming copper and chairs gilded in bronze. The color range is very sophisticated , I particularly love the green velvet curtain and the antique church candelabras facing out to the street.
