Joseph Altuzarra is a master at how to dress a powerful woman, and that was tailored all over his Spring/Summer ’13 collection, which was composed strictly of knee-length skirts and pants. The show begun with daywear outfits: cape-like editor-style jackets, not-too-heavily printed skirts, gladiator knee-high sandals and deep-cut shirts. Later along came the skirt cuts and tassels made an entrance. This was the moment that daywear was left aside because Altuzarra was having a delightful “Arabic nights” moment: electric blue and gold and skilfully wrapped around the body, printed scarves. Only thing missing, a magic carpet Joseph!
