Acne Studios’ Resort Collection 2014 is androgynous and utterly awe inspiring. The combination of those shoes, that metallic, topped with a smooth, sultry mood reminded me why I am a die-hard fan of the Acne brand. This Resort there has been a shift from previous seasons, where we saw heavy leathers and dark boxy tailoring, the line has moved into more fluid silhouettes in unusual shades of sunny tangerine and silver ivory. The inspiration, creative director Jonny Johansson said, was taken from his Stockholm garden, evident through the oversize slouchy cotton jackets and industrious pockets, styled with hats that would not look out of place in the green house. Yet again another collection that effortlessly fills our fashion wish list.
