Palo Alto-based architecture studio Field Architecture got inspired by the vernacular architecture of Napa Valley for this gorgeous residence surrounded by grape vines. They combined local barn architecture with contemporary design for this modern barn reinterpretation.
The Wine Country retreat is sited in the St. Helena valley surrounded by vineyards and ancient oaks. Arranged around a central courtyard, the interior seamlessly flows to a poolside terrace that looks out to rows of grapes and the property’s existing hay barn.
