The ‘Villa Rose’ Unveils a Futuristic Garden in Paris

Séverine Redon, founder of Artdicted agency and co-founder of ‘Le Coeur’ gallery space is behind the unique space of the ‘Villa Rose’. This secret address, located in the 9th arrondissement of Paris, also called the ‘Nouvelle Athènes’ district where many famous French writers have lived. Greeted right from the entrance by a marble stairs painted by Mathias Kiss, the 1850 mansion hides two different ambiances: a ‘Winter Garden’ on ground floor and the ‘English Club’ downstairs.

Gilbert Kann, a contemporary furnitures expert, has invited Italian futurism with a selection of floral sculptures made of polished steel designed by Giacomo Balla and edited by Dino Gavina in 70’s. Through ‘Earthy Paradise’, the sharp pieces converse with the tropical ‘Winter Garden’ signed Maison Debeaulieu, periodically occupied by a guest designer or artist. The ‘English Club’ houses a muffled atmosphere with an equipped kitchen and a golden brown living room ideal for business receptions, characterized by a stone chimney.
