During her work in journalism & PR, Veerle Symoens started instinctively tearing out images that caught her eye in all the magazines that crossed her hands.
She set to work with scissors, glue, paint, markers, pencils and any other material to recreate a very personal atmosphere and composition from these images.
Veerle Symoens her mixed media collages are sold worldwide and appeared already in ELLE magazine, De Standaard, De Morgen, ABSoluut magazine, Knack Weekend, …. She exhibited and sold collages via Saatchi Art and Bezar in a.o. Antwerp, Brussels, London, Essaouira, New York, Tashkent and Bermuda Island. –
As of June 21st, Veerle Symoens her collages are exhibited throughout the summer in the
brand new BelCham – ATELIER in San Francisco.
