Tom Hegen is a photographer and graphic designer based in Munich, Germany, focusing on aerial photography and investigating the impact of human presence on earth.
Examining the relationship between nature and people, his images take a stance on important issues such as food shortage, the evaporation of seawater and the effects of coal mining on the environment.
What strikes about the visuals are the impeccable composition and the synchrony of colors – just as if nature preserved its own kind of harmony.
