Sergio Membrillas is an artist based in Valencia creating illustrations for a wide selection of Spanish and international titles. From The New Yorker to Le Monde, his colorful aesthetic has appealed to many, partially due to Membriallas’ unique ability to create perfect exaggerations of reality. Disproportionate figures, blank facial expressions – his protagonists seem to inhabit a remote, obscure planet that we can only try to imagine by looking into his art.
