The Row S/S 2013

New York style can be described with many adjectives. But what the Olsen sisters have tried to pass through The Row, is how to leave its pluralistic side behind and go with its unique minimalism. For this season, The Row went even more abstract, thing generally pretty challenging considering the only four-color palette: ivory tones, red, royal blue and black for the 24 monochromatic creations that for once more were aiming to highlight the feminine essence. There were pants under loose dresses, straight-lined maxi skirts and delicately fastened and folded luxurious silk. A strong, pure presence, a woman in disguise that her style is inspires by the 18th century artist, Ito Jakuchu.
