Sharing Worlds by Zim & Zou

“Sharing Worlds” by a French duet Zim & Zou is an art project for the Noble Prize Museum in Sweden. Inspired by two novels – ‘Kristin Lavransdatter’ written by Sigrid Undset and ‘One Hundred Years of Solitude’ by Gabriel Garcia Marquez – the cut-out worlds aim to reflect the settings of these literary piece. The first is located in 14th century Trondheim while the second installation resembles the house inside which Marquez’s story takes place. With strong attention to details and color, the artists prove the magic of handcraft and traditional materials such as paper.
