The paintings of Seonna Hong depict small human figures amidst grand natural landscapes. The LA-based artist has developed a project titled ‘In Our Nature’ that’s been exhibited at Hashimoto Contemporary in San Francisco. Referencing to her childhood, Hong’s works are effect of great imagination.
Her paint-drip landscapes are slightly abstract and dreamy, where multi-colored layers of mountains and trees serve as a background for a bigger picture of a human condition.
