Out Of Stock is a design collective containing of four international creators; Gabriel Tan and Wendy Chua from Singapore, Gustavo Maggio from Argentina and Sebastián Alberdi from Spain.
Among many projects, The Hues Table is especially interesting as it looks into the overlay of colors in venn diagrams. Another one is the Laputa, an array of handmade copper islands reflecting the nature around us, and the Brand New Bag, a funny take on the label bags we want but can’t afford. This silk-screened crossword puzzle makes the user able to mark brands with an erasable fabric marker.
The design of Out of Stock is clever, sharp and fun at the same time, and the international diversity of the designers make this an interesting collective worth checking out.
