The interior for a Warsaw-based cocktail bar located in Sródmiescie Poludniowe was designed by a local architect Kacper Gronkiewicz.
The pre-war tenement house from the 19th century serves as a truly eclectic introduction to the oriental space laid with Moroccan carpets and featuring brass & marble surfaces that were used to construct the small counter. The idea was to bring a sense of spirituality and mysticism into the design of this bourbon speciality bar, occupying a relatively small surface.
“Upholstery was made by the craftsman next door, and brass details were also executed on spot while stone slabs cladding the bar come from a stonemason based on one of Warsaw cementaries and are the leftovers of his commissions,” outlines the architect.
