Nicholas Chistiakov is a contemporary Belarusian-American artist whose work is emphasized on photo-based and deconstructivist painting.
We love the visual complexity of his works, which besides being unconventional address issues of modernity, morality, and existence. This series of figurative paintings are heavily influenced by Neo Expressionism, which led him to begin exploring a new style for himself- Deconstructivism. Christiakov’s major influences are such artists as Francis Bacon, Gerhard Richter, Pablo Picasso and Max Beckmann.
