When fashion industry is one stupendous platform of expression, is kind of a let-down when designers stuck with the foreseeable dark color palette for their winter collections. Something like that must’ve been on Dimos’s Natar and Andreas’s Georgiou mind, the designing duo behind NatarGeorgiou label. The Greek-Cypriots designers presented their second collection, for Autumn/Winter 2013, in which white and all kind of iridescent bright colors were infused to make the seasonal transition whimsical. NatarGeorgiou focused on creating new proportions: revealing unexpectedly skin through daring cuts, within “conservatively” silhouetted designs of strict necklines, collars, and below-the-knee hemlines. The textures? Many and along with the gradient coloring are the main characteristics of a mature, glamed-up, old-school style.
