Moulin Loft by a Paris-based studio Ubalt Architects combines functionality with modern yet austere design. Steel staircase marks the focal point of the geometrical interior, complemented with black & white terrazzo and green marble tiles.
The architects opted for smooth, reflective textures that distribute the light throughout the apartment and highlight the cleanliness of pastel shades such as mint and grey.
Stainless steel used in the kitchen works harmoniously with polished concrete floors, offering an industrial feel to the lab-like space. Conversely, in the bathrooms, minimalist white tiles were combined with marble clads that add the luxurious touch to design’s elegant austerity.
