This architectural gem of top notch design is located in the heart of nature, in Washington State’s Methow Valley.
The Mazama House is the brain child of FINNE Architects who stirred the waters of everyday living by elevating the main volume of the house higher and locating the two-story bedroom in the ground floor and freeing the breathtaking view to its residents. The industrial ruffle of the roof gives an outter taste of the interior which stand out due to quite, unique details. The wooden beams, on the inside, transform following the roof’s movement, while floating decorations just below them, enhance this diffused modern magic. Custom pieces of furniture and lighting fill the inside which is lined with laser-cut steel railing panels and waterjet-cut aluminum light fixtures, and all these along with the high standards of sustainability, make this residence truly an exceptional one.
