Artist and shaman Matthew Stone is a multi-faceted provocateur. He specializes in digital paintings using 3d modeling softwares. Stone hand-paints on glass and photographs the resulting compositions.
He then takes these high-resolution details and digitally intensifies and retouches them to remove any imperfections. The paint is then printed onto veneered wooden panels, sheet acrylic and mirror. The resulting photographs and digital prints are part of an extended artistic process that furthers the visual and practical potential of paint and the digital world.
