Landscapes within is a series of furniture that aims to represent and preserve the memory of a place once visited. Artist Witktoria Szawiel is fascinated by the human condition to recall landscapes, with all their elements of space, light, smell, sound and texture.
Szawiel revisits an eastern landscape in these particular works, serie#1 and #2, by encasing wiker and rattan materials in various cloudy resins. The series includes a side table and stool.
