Phoebe is a series of woven light collars intended to be worn by naked women. It is a hybrid lighting fixture that was previously featured at the Stedelijk Museum. According to the artist, it makes us reflect on beauty and the danger of its quest. Phoebe will be presented as part of the artist first solo gallery exhibition, “Portraits”, at the New York design gallery Friendman Benda, from February 25 through April 9.
