French designer Louis Gabriel Nouchi presented his collection “I Hate Humans!” at the Festival de Hyères 2014. His amorphous garments and color play inspired by the Romanian artist Geta Bratescu seem to capture the spirit of Celine Spring/Summer 2014. The visionary streak, honed from his experience assisting the creative team at Raf Simons, manifests in a collection that is ambitious yet at the same time effortless. Pretty good for someone who attended both medical and law school.
