House of Millenium is a restaurant and cafe in a historical Budapest building which was once an exhibition hall for the Hungarian National Millennium Exhibition in 1896.
Originally decorated with Zsolnay porcelain, Hungarian architecture studios Kiss Miklos and Archikon redesigned the place with deep green color, exaggerated large-scale knick-knacks, plates and vases with a strong Art Nouveau feeling.
Kiss Miklos redesigned the pattern of an old Art Nouveau vase and created a brand new collection especially for the restaurant in collaboration with porcelain and pottery manufacturer Zsolnay.
