Written 2 years ago by
Ben Wheatley’s new film, based on the science fiction novel by JG Ballard. Set in London 1975, Tom Hiddleston (Crimson Peak, Only Lovers Left Alive) plays a young doctor seduced by the lifestyle on offer in a luxury tower block. The tower designed in collaboration with visual effects designer Mark Tildesley (28 Days Later) was inspired by brutalist architecture like The Barbican, Trellick Tower, Torre Woermann and Alexandra Road Estate.
