Hannah Whitaker’s Mixed-Media Collages

The art technique of Hannah Whitaker is far from ordinary. Her graphic collages start with a sketch, later cut into paper screens and inserted into the camera during exposure. The artist intersects different media and explores the possibilities of redefining the analogue process.

Various effects and configurations are born, but to achieve the final image, Whitaker can take a couple of weeks to produce up to 30 screens. The selection of her works is now exhibited as part of ‘Live Agent’ at M+B gallery in Los Angeles until March 11th.
