Fredericia Opens New Rooftop ‘Living Showroom’

Since 1911 Danish design house Fredericia, which started as a chair factory, have been betting on sustainability and the quality of their materials. Set atop the former Royal Mail House in the heart of Copenhagen, Fredericia showroom benefits from a stunning view on the Sankt Petri bell-tower and the whole city. The 1,100 square meters are spread across two floors, from the gallery with changing exhibitions to the light-washed ‘living showroom’. More than 100 years of stories are thereby displayed, including exclusive products like Børge Mogensen’s original ‘2213’ sofa, which stood in the house’s designer for many years, his famous ‘Spanish’ chairs and ‘Kile’ sofa designed by Jasper Morrison.
