Pitsou Kedem Architects designed a seemingly floating retreat in Tel Aviv, non surprisingly named ‘Float House’.
The project’s main concept is based on the uninterrupted dynamic between the courtyards and the inside spaces, thanks to its flat construction. In addition the use of ultra-thin materials; such as wood, glass and metal are harmoniously used along the building’s façades accentuating simple and contemporary lines.
As the final coup de coeur, shallow pools studded with large basalt rocks and trees spread around and inside the house guarantees lightness and freshness for this oasis right in the middle of Israel.
